I’m a shoe designer. And I want to be the next Manolo Blahnik. I get inspiration from almost anything. My planner is always full and I wonder if my secretary can still manage to arrange my schedule. Everything is so erratic. My bag essentials are the following: a small sketchpad where I draw designs when they pop into my mind, mints, lip balm, shades, 2 mobile phones, business card case and my trusty laptop. My trusty laptop is not for business use only. It’s true, I check my emails, draw my designs on my laptop. I was told about online poker, I can now play poker anywhere and anytime. I grew up in a family having weekly poker nights, since I’m away from my family, I play online poker because I’m used to it and it’s my way of coping with my distance from my family. I miss them so much, and playing poker reminds me of my wonderful days with them. Of course, I still talk to them on the phone or through the internet! My other sisters also shared that they find playing online poker as continuing our family tradition. It does not involve much effort or trouble since it’s played at home. My precious time isn’t wasted, get my job done, get my sales targets and cope with my longing for our family poker night. It may sound odd but it really helps.
